A new session has been announced for the 2022 Mumbrella CommsCon program, with speakers from Thinkerbell and IAG added to the lineup. The event will take place on 19 May at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney.
Examining Thinkerbell’s case studies, the agency’s founder Adam Ferrier and lead earned thinker Taylor York will examine the concept of earned media, driving attention for agencies’ clients amid slashed budgets.
Presenting an overview of the creative versus PR agency landscape, Ferrier and York will interrogate the reasons behind PR agencies’ difficulty in attracting talent and retaining clients compared to their creative peers, as well as how Thinkerbell reconcile the tension between creativity and earned to deliver results.
Joined by IAG’s Zara Curtis, the trio will elaborate on how their goal to merge creative and earned had led to campaigns that drive tangible business outcomes.
Ferrier, York and Curtis join the previously announced lineup, including AZK Media’s founder Azadeh Williams, Big Red Communications’ CEO Dan Ingall, Ogilvy PR’s chief growth officer Jacquie Potter and more.
